Today. I am going to talk about EVIL and why it exists. Does God allow EVIL to exists? No. We do. You see, like morality and other abstract thoughts, the ideas of good and evil are subjective to human perceptions. For example, Nazis, Skin heads, Uneducated Dimwits will say that Jews are evil, while the rest of society will think that people hating on (and wanting to destroy) a religious group for no real good reason is evil.
There are things most of humanity can agree on, killing innocent people is evil, raping and pillaging is evil, stealing for your own greedy ambitions is evil, lying can be evil, having a bad mustache is evil. But all these things, were not created by God. They were created by humans. Humans who don't care about the fact that their mustache is hideous!
People sometimes forget that humans are animals. We treat ourselves as though we are above other animals in our behaviour, our manners, or values, and this is all good and fine. It's admirable to try and better oneself (or an entire species) to try and push ourselves to do better and be better. To make morals and values, to decided what about us is good and what about us is evil. But, at the end of the day, no matter how hard we train ourselves, we are still animals. We can revert, we can deviate, we can do what comes natural to us.
It isn't evil, it's nature.

Making another quick blog.
I get really frustrated when I hear people talking about how religion is counter productive to society, that it makes people stupid, that people only go to it because they are afraid of death, that it is horrible and wrong and evil and it should be permabanned 4ever.
These people, in my mind, seem to lack the ability to think outside the box. Understand what role religious groups play in our society and our evolution. Faith, theology, spiritualism have been a part of society before the dawn of civilization. Religions just organized these beliefs. They created structure, order, community, purpose, reason, explanations. Religions have been evolving as humans evolve, their philosophies changing as we change. Their role in society made it possible for the new world to be discovered, for many scientific discoveries to be funded, for architecture, literacy, art, music to develop.
Many bad things have been done and justified in the name of religion, but the same can be said for race, political views, nationalism, progress.
People talk about how the bible was used and can be used to justify slavery of blacks in America, and yet they seem to forget the important role Quakers played in the anti slavery movement.

Today, religious views are so diverse. There literally is something for everyone, regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation. Progress is being made as society demands progress. Some people fear this of course, they would rather stick to the old ways. And it seems that those who have the meanest message, have the loudest voice. Perhaps this is why many non-religious people are blind to the full affects religious groups have on society. Blind to the fact that faith, the belief that we are all loved and deserving of love can be a very powerful motivator for people to demand change, peace, justice.
As for me, I see religion as another tool to understand human nature. How I can understand what they are thinking about, why they are thinking in a certain way, how I can help them. Different religions give me different perspectives on looking at life and humanity. Different ways of understanding history, where we came from, where we are going.
I am non religious and I love religion. I may not agree with it, but I love it.

I feel better about going back to this page again, before I used to write nonsense and ramblings... but now I can write nonsense and ramblings and thoughts that I thought of while watching youtube videos and wanting to make my own but not really being able to get my mouth words to match the ideas in my brain. It also give me the time to talk about subjects that have long passed in the youtube community but I still think about time to time.
For example. A long long time ago, I can still remember, how thedefendingchamp set up a blogtv thing and some how it got on the subject of "If you were working in a hospital and had a patient who was dying, and they asked you if he/she was going to heaven, and you didn't believe in heaven, what would you do?" and a few people gave the answer that they would tell them exactly what they thought. Some people said it's better to lie to them and say they are.
And well, coming from the perspective of a girl who has only completed one Semester of a Social Worker program, I'd have to say that if you are in the position where you are caring for a patient, you HAVE to put your clients needs, thoughts and wishes before yours. It doesn't matter what you think. It doesn't matter what your beliefs are, or your morals or your opinions. All that matters is the client. He/she is the one who is dying, he/she is the one who is scared and in need of counseling. If you do not feel like you can talk about the subject, than you can let them talk to someone else. If you can't do that, you put their thoughts, their values, ahead of your own. That is your job. It's a hard thing to do.
It doesn't matter how right you are, how much evidence you have to support your beliefs, how much you disagree with your clients faith- if he/she asks you "am I going to heaven?" you respond along the lines of "do you think you are? I don't see why not. Would you like to talk to someone about this?"
You need to think about how you would want to be treated if you were in a similar situation. What would keep you more calm, more accepting of the inevitable.
You may not know know what will happen, and for all you know you may be lying, but if it keeps the client satisfied for the time being, you say it. Is it really going to hurt you? Is it really going to hurt the patient to tell them that they are going to go meet their loved ones in a magically cloud kingdom? No. So swallow your pride.
You may not agree with it, but tough. It's either that or deal with a patient and their family who are furious at you for telling their dying relative that all his/her beliefs are wrong.

I haven't posted here in a dogs age. I don't know why. I guess I got lazy, and speaking in front of a camera letting the whole world know what an ugly dumb bimbo I am, is a lot easier than typing shit up and running it through spell check (God knows I need it). But since this bandwidth limit thing my brother keeps telling me about is ruining my youtube videos, I guess I'll start posting here more so if people want to know what I'm up to they can just read my crazy nonsense ramblings.
I deleted... pretty much all of my old posts except for one. The first one. Nothing of value was lost. And I guess I see it as a fresh start to do the same old shit as I did before.
I want to give a special shout out to Ray Ray and Internet Jesus for no reason in particular and lets just hope this will be the first of many great, and frequently updated journals.

It is now day 65 on my gut wrenching trip across the Ocean in a row boat and my bowels have yet to have a good passing.... The doctor lied to me.
My skin is dry, and my hair is greasy; so in order to win this battle I have created the perfect plan: I have a long hot steamy shower, rub body wash all over my warm flesh (after I wash my hair because that's the kind of girl I am.) Then, when I am done in the shower, I cover my wet body with lotion and lie on my bed naked to air dry.
The neighbour's boy wanted to pay me to watch me do this; it would have been an easy $5.00 except the neighbours don't have a boy.... and I am on a boat
